Hey there, reader; my name is Hannah LaHue and I love books, as you probably have noticed from the content of this blog. I would like to thank you for reading; if a book that I have, or will talk about is one that you pick up, then the purpose serves itself. I have tried a few times in the past to try writing a book review blog, but could never keep it going because life happened. The hope this time around is to, of course, keep this going, but to also grow in my writing because I feel like I am supposed to be writing something, whether it’s a book, or something else.

To put it out there, I love Jesus; my husbando and I have been married since 2017 and have been able to go through life together because of the grace and mercy He has blessed us with. To also put it out there, this does not mean that the books I review are necessarily filtered. Being a creative and a lover of books, I do not want to let what the world says about a book be the reason why I don’t read it, and I want to celebrate a good book regardless of its writer’s story. God gave people gifts and we should celebrate with one another those gifts.
I have a s**t ton of books in my apartment that I want to read. I probably won’t be the most current person, but hopefully that’s okay.
For the sake of consistency, I always include a link where you can buy the book on Amazon, because Amazon. Personally, I try to shop local, or go to a library. Which brings me back up to how I have a s**t ton of books in my apartment. I’m going to be real, my saying “I would read it again” is only relevant if we were infinite on this earth, who knows what we’d find in Heaven; being realistic, with the plans my husband and I have for our lives I no longer have the desire to produce a massive library in my home, therefore I don’t keep the books I read unless it’s that frickin’ good and I absolutely will read it. I bring the books I don’t keep in a paper box to Half Price Books, so if ya’ll want the copy I literally just read, message me through the “book review suggestion” thing.
Thank you for reading this novel of an “About Me”; let’s get out there and love on some books, shall we?? Ikou!!
