Knowing and Enjoying God

In my times of spiritual growth and alone time with God, I had made a resolution to be doing devotionals with an addition of trying to read more Christian living or theology  books to take notes from. I already had been following a pastor on social media named Tim Challies, so when I was walking around in town I had come across Knowing and Enjoying God, a small book of quotes organized then expanded on by Challies. He has done other books like this.

I enjoyed reading through Knowing and Enjoying God. They were nice and simple takes on three different topics: personal relationship, community, and prayer. The writing was very research based with many references used biblically. It was also a great tool for resources if I wanted to read from other theologians. All in all, I was able to take a pretty decent amount of notes while reading.

I would recommend reading Knowing and Enjoying God, especially if you are looking for something introductory, something to take your time on to reflect. If you would like a copy of Knowing and Enjoying God, you can find it here.

9/10

I know this review was quite late and dismal. I do have another one coming pretty quick to follow as well.
